Lobbying Toolkit

Through #BeyondBirthWork, we have engaged in political conversations to inform the public about doulas and the impact of Bills A364B & S3344B on our respective communities. 

 

We have created a Lobbying Toolkit that we hope will be a useful resource for doulas all over the State to get in touch with their State Senators and Assemblymembers. Regardless of the outcome for this legislation, each approach will require ongoing relationships and communication between the doula community and those elected to represent us in Albany. We can start building these relationships now as we continue to educate ourselves and build consensus on the best path forward.
